The following is a list of rules that players are expected to follow whilst playing on the server or communicating on any server-related platform.

Some admins are more or less forgiving on certain issues than others, but in general violating any of these rules will result in a permanent ban.

Ban appeals must be directed to rico#5130. Keep in mind that, once denied, you must wait 1 week and appeal again.

It is within your best interest to always be open and honest, as if we cannot trust what you're saying you will simply be banned.

Rule 1: Don't be an asshole

We are all here to have fun and enjoy the server. It's a video game: don't be an asshole.

  • Constantly targeting, harassing, or threatening another member of the community is against the rules.
    • This includes excessively negatively impacting another character with little in-character justification.

Rule 2: Use common sense

Think before you speak to avoid making yourself look like an idiot.

  • Being overly disruptive or annoying will get you banned.
  • Cheating, exploiting, hacking, and spamming are not allowed
    • Follow rule #10 if you encounter any bugs or exploits.
  • 'Toeing the line' or exploiting loopholes when it comes to the server rules is not allowed.
  • This community has a zero-tolerance policy for engaging in or discussing in sexual 18+ content, including erotic roleplay (ERP), in any way.

Rule 3: Follow the combat rules

Rule 3.1: Shoot to Kill

We employ the S2K (Shoot to Kill) system of combat for all situations. This means that players may use the weapons they have available and engage in combat spontaneously.

  • To begin combat, the initiating party must write a /me detailing their actions
    • This /me will include what you intend to accomplish in detail.
    • e.g. /me raises his fists, throwing a barrage of punches towards the man's upper torso in an attempt to disable him.
  • Once the /me has been typed, S2K combat may begin between both parties immediately.
  • If both parties are armed, a /me is not required.
  • If the other party attacks you or runs away whilst typing the /me, you may begin S2K combat immediately.
  • If the other party is out of yelling range, a /me is not required.

Rule 3.2: Escalation

  • You may attack any player given that you have reasonable in-character justification.
    • e.g. stealing property, snitching on you, provoking an altercation, constant verbal abuse.
    • Poorly-based reasons with little benefit to roleplay such as killing someone over a casual disagreement or because they insulted you once do not constitute reasonable justification.
  • You may attempt to mug other citizens at any time.
    • To attempt to attack or mug Civil Protection, however, at least 4 units ranked 25+ must be flagged on.
